REACHING OUT TO SPANISH-SPEAKING FAMILIES:
ENSURING EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS
On Tuesday, December 5, 2000, join National PTA President Ginny
Markell and U.S. Department of Education Secretary Richard Riley for the
interactive teleconference Reaching Out to Spanish-Speaking Families:
Ensuring Educational Success.
This live program will air via satellite from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30
p.m., Eastern Standard Time, and feature a panel of PTA representatives
and PTA leaders from around the nation describing the unique parent
involvement programs and resources they have developed for
Spanish-speaking families.
Educators, community members, and PTA leaders will be able to phone in
questions and comments to the panel throughout the broadcast.
