Linda thought she was coming to the Capitol on a lobbying mission. Instead, she was greeted by a number of former state PTA presidents, PTA officers and members, state representatives and an aide to U.S. Rep. Rob Simmons, R-2.

Kevin Daly, Connecticut PTA President, said the state is fortunate to have Linda leading the organization. "She has a reputation for knowing what to do."
