Operation
Homefront
We support military families while their loved ones are deployed and conducting
the business of America. We handle the “Murphy’s Law” of the military i.e. that
things will break and need repair the minute the service member deploys
overseas. However, we are best known for taking on the most extreme cases, such
as eviction and homelessness, which are beyond the immediate help of the Navy
Ombudsmen, Marine Corps Key Volunteers and other family support organizations.
Perhaps most important, once the immediate crisis is addressed, we make sure the
client receives the assistance and education needed to ensure long-term family
stability by getting the “unofficial scoop” and support from the spouse
community at CinCHouse.com,
or by receiving counseling from other service organizations such as the
Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society and the Fleet & Family Support Center.

Operation
Homelink
Operation Homelink provides free computers to families of deployed
military personnel. Operation Homelink's mission is to provide free,
refurbished computers to family members of deployed military personnel in the
junior enlisted ranks (E1-E5). With Internet access, the donated home computers
will enable regular email communication between those serving our country
overseas and the families they left back at home...

Operation Uplink
Operation Uplink is a unique program that keeps military personnel and
hospitalized veterans in touch with their families and loved ones by providing
them with a free phone card. Using contributions from supporters like you,
Operation Uplink purchases phone cards and distributes them to servicemen and
women who are separated from those they care about.

Project
Homefront
You can help The Home Depot® support the families of those
serving our country through a volunteer program called Project Homefront.
Originally created by The Home Depot to help over 1,700 of our associates
currently serving, we've extended this program, in coordination with Rebuilding
Together and USA Freedom Corps, to help the families of all active duty
military. This effort will help these families keep up their home lives and
their homes while their loved ones are away. One million volunteer hours
and $1 million in home improvement materials and support are being donated to
Project Homefront through our long-standing Team Depot program because we know
firsthand the emotional and financial challenges these families face. We invite
you to join us. While they take care of our homeland, we'll take care of their
homes.
